Love Widget ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by munstudio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Love Widget mobile application ("App").

By using Love Widget, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: your display name, username, email address, and optional profile photo.
• Partner relationship data: your connected partner's profile, your shared love start date, and couple ID.
• Content you share: photos, notes, and messages sent to your partner through the App.
• Usage data: daily check-ins, streaks, widget interactions, and feature usage within the App.
• Device data: device type, OS version, and push notification tokens (for delivering messages and streak reminders).
• Analytics data: anonymised usage events collected via Firebase Analytics to improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the App and sync data between you and your partner's devices.
• To power home screen widgets with your relationship data.
• To display your partner's photo and name on your widgets and vice versa.
• To send push notifications for messages, streak reminders, and partner activity.
• To calculate and display love day counts, streaks, and countdown timers.
• To improve features through aggregated analytics.
• To show advertisements within the App (see Section 5).
• To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With your connected partner: your display name, username, and profile photo are shared with the person you are connected to in the App.
• Invitation links: when you share your invite link, your username is included in the URL so your partner can find you.
• Service providers: we use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, storage, and push notifications. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by Firebase.
• Advertising networks: we use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers for ad personalisation.
• Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

4. Photos and Profile Images

Profile photos and images you share are stored on Firebase Storage and delivered to your connected partner. Content may be stored for a period to ensure reliable widget delivery. We do not use your photos or images to train AI models or for advertising targeting.

5. Advertising

Love Widget displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers and usage data to deliver relevant ads. You can limit ad personalisation through your device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS, or Google's ad settings).

6. In-App Purchases

Love Widget offers optional premium features and subscriptions processed through Apple's App Store. We do not store or have access to your payment card details. Apple's App Store privacy policy governs payment data.

7. Account Retention and Deletion

Accounts that have been inactive for 12 consecutive months may be automatically deleted along with associated data. You will receive a notification before deletion occurs if we hold a valid contact address.

You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at support@muntheme.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Love Widget is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@muntheme.com to exercise these rights.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of Love Widget after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
